College players should profit, there is a way around it though, if you're going to sign helmets, don't sign anything with the school's logo on it. Explain to the sellers that they can put the decals on the helmets after you sign them. Or infer that, by saying you wont sign anything with a school decal it and let them figure out the rest.

Actually, just sign the shyt, get ya cash and make sure no one is filming it.

They should simply have a choice -- either take the scholarship and abide by those rules OR turn it down and make your money if you feel you can make more than what that scholarship is worth.

99% of players would take the former even under these circumstances.

it would cause problems because every college player gets taken care of, when i hear about a college player being hungry thats his fault

making it ok for them to make money freely off their name could cause trouble with other players,all type of brokers,agents,sponsors(independent) possibly,

coaches make million and assistant coaches get 6 figure salaries. if theres gonna be issues regardless, let the people who actually generate the money get paid.

you can replace college coaches with high school coaches and not much would change. try replacing these top college athletes and see how watchable these games are
