I've been pondering this recently and I'm looking at these music CDs, DVDs, and games like...:patrice:

I literally haven't played a CD in a mighty long time. Seems like work to actually get up and put it in a CD player or fumble around with them in the car. For a long time I've basically plugged in my auxiliary cord and played whatever i had downloaded or streamed from spotify.

DVDs/Blurays are dusty as fukk who really watches movies or tv shows more than once every couple of years anyway. Really isn't a legit reason to own movies and TV shows with stuff like Netflix and Showbox right @ your fingertips. Kind of disgusting looking at the titles on blu-ray I paid $30 for. :scust:

I think I actually paid over $50 for the godfather collection...which I sold not too long ago. :snoop:

The PS3 games are just sitting as well I don't even play that damn thing anymore. If it wasn't on its last legs I would probably sell it.

I'm definitely going to be sifting through this shyt and seeing what I absolutely need to keep versus what is going to be sold or given to the library or whoever will take them off my hands.

Can't believe I used to actually think it was cool to have a collection and have these things sitting on shelves like some trophies. :why:

Speak on it brehs

I still like having physical copies of everything. If I like an album or TV show I'll always buy the physical copy just to support. Only entertainment I don't get physicals for is video games (too lazy to change out the discs).

Any thread about minimalism on The Coli devolves into people telling you that you are trying to live like a "broke nikka."

I'm doing the same thing too right now, trying to sell some of these games that I will never play

I sold my Xbox 360 back in 2011. I put my tv in a storage unit and disabled all Internet functions on my phone. I still have a iPhone 4 (not s), and I don't intend to buy a new phone anytime soon.

I had a desktop computer, but it burned out. sometimes I fool around using my girls iPad, like now, and always feel guilty about it.

i broke down and bought a ps4, and I feel guilty about it.

The Internet can scramble your brain.

I don't sell anything. Might be for the nostalgia I guess. :yeshrug: I Also prefer physical copies of everything so I have the option to sell the item I own. (Which I never do but I don't like the idea of paying for something that I don't have 100% freedom to do what I want with it, which includes lending it to a friend)

I been slowly getting on that wave for the past few years. Got rid of all my old systems except my PS3, and when I get a PS4, I'll be giving my PS3 and the games to a family member.

Got rid of all my old kid shyt like Pokemon and yugioh cards. Old DVDs I'll never watch.

I been a Craigslist guru for the past 2 years just selling shyt like crazy. Made some decent money on there.

I don't like clutter and don't like keeping stuff just to keep it and watch it gather dust in my closet. Why not sell it for some cash or give it to someone who can put it to better use?:yeshrug:
