i'm trying to decide between the fidelity 500 fund whose fee is .02 percent, and some other fund that's .88 percent. kid i know works at fidelity and he told me he fukks with the .88. i have both, im just wondering how i should allocate

in the long term, does anyone really beat the market? i see a lot of advice about ditch the shyt with fees, etc...but in the past 5 years, the .88 fee is up like 3% over the .02 one, so that money obviously gets made up if it does better

i dont really know what im doing, just have a bunch of money to throw at this shyt :heh: thought id see what everyone thought on here

You said you don't know what you are doing so just get into a Vanguard or Fidelity S&P 500 Index Fund and call it a day. Historically the S&P 500 has done around 7%. But right now is not the time to invest in the market, it is too high.
