How do you feel about straight edge people?

I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. Alcohol tastes terrible, I hate the smell of cigarettes and weed and I've never had an interest drugs.

Some people just aren't about that life...and that's perfectly ok. They usually end up being the DD so it all balances out in the end.

To me straight edge isn't the guy who just never wanted to drink.

Straight edge is the guy who doesn't drink and wants to rub it in people's faces. Or make lame arguments about how superior they are for not drinking / using drugs.

People who don't drink aren't looking for a label to put on themselves. People who call themselves straight edge are clowns.

But it is OK to brag about how wasted you got?

I drink but I no longer drink to get drunk! I don't drink much alcohol but if I do it's for the sheer taste of it and not to just get wasted.

Don't do drugs and I don't smoke.

I have some friends who drink a lot and take drugs and I have some that do neither. Each to their own, I let people be and I expect the same

Well if they are going to a party (knowing that there is going to be drinking) then it's their civic duty to drive their friend(s) home.
