Brehs, I need some critical advice. A search couldn't find me a previous post, and I've done all I could do outside of using protein powder.
Apparently I weigh 110lbs now which is insane because I thought I was at 130 and gaining weight. I haven't been working out for a minute, but I've been eating every single day as much as I've could for a while.
When I started football in HS I weighed 119. I gained 6lbs in two weeks and I was finally able to powerclean 125lbs. The coach told me I had an extremely fast metabolism, my body converts food into energy at a much faster rate than most guys.
Now I'm getting ready for the corps. I've started training my abdominal area and my forearms by doing 100 crunches a day and using grippers. This is so I don't get as shaky when I start lifting or doing pushups.
Yet this is ridiculous. I've been eating peanut butter, grilled chicken, salads, fruits & vegetables, and other home-cooked meals until I couldn't eat any more. I drink water and milk, and use carnation instant breakfast with the milk.
How can I lose this much weight? Also, how I can I get it back? Is it a decrease in muscle mass? I'm trying to push my limit past 130-140lbs. It will take more than a year, maybe even two years, but I need to get at least most of my weight back.
Also I don't have access to a gym. I have a 30lb curling bar I use to lift 7 hrs a day with breaks, every day when I'm getting ready.
Could you guys give me some pointers? I'm not new to this, but I've never delved into the science behind this.
