shampoo maybe twice a week and a shea moisture leave-in conditioner that i use whenever. i don't even know what the shyt does i thought it'd be good for moisturizing my scalp. i know fukk all about hair products

And you're sure it's dry scalp and not dandruff, right? I recently stopped shampooing. Found out it was drying my hair out too much and suddenly the dry flakes have disappeared.

You’re telling someone with dry scalp and hair to use coconut oil every other day and have no idea what you’re talking about :mjlol:

Coconut Oil Can Actually Make These Hair Types MORE Dry

Using Bentonite Clay on Low Porosity Hair | 4C Hair Care | Stylesbyprin

I have bentonite clay but never used it for my scalp. It's hard to rinse off when used as a face mask so I hope that doesn't happen with hair. I'll give it a try.

Shampoo dries my scalp. The chemicals are too harsh and strip all the moisture away. If you have dry scalp you have to avoid them entirely. I use this:

It works for me. I use it twice a week. Once regular and once with two drops of tea tree oil to keep dandruff away. Before bed I'd spray my hair and scalp with water and throw a durag on.
