how do you get to deathmatch/team deathmatch on gta v? (help me please)

shyt is so frustrating. i bought this game today. where the fukk are the multiplayer modes?

this game is so far. nobody online. nobody talking. dead silence

im stuck in this free roam where nobody is fighting. about 15 people spread out on the map doing there own thing shyt is boring.
