How do you guys feel about weaves/wigs that look like natural hair?

Weave is alright, I prefer natural, but dating BW weave is almost a constant so I've grown to accept it

I have always warn my own hair. I have never had weaves wigs, extensions or braids that's not my own hair.
I've tried on my aunts wig just to be silly and it felt like I was wearing a costume . I felt fake. The same with make up. Make up is cool but I just haven't been able to adjust to the feeling of having something caked onto my face.

A lot of ladies leave there weaves in until it looks so awful.
I keep shyt very simple. It's nothing wrong with rocking weaves if that's your thing.

I do however want some braids put in.

What if her bra strap length natural hair is damaged (at the ends) and grows better and braids and that's why she want's to wear a wig (or weave) for a couple of months? @Malta


Lace fronts are the most natural looking wigs. Most people who wear wigs wear them, but cut off the lace. Beyonce always wears a lace front. She sews hers to her braids, I believe, so it won't come off.

Your aunts wig is probably nothing like the wigs that they have available today. Most wigs look very realistic if the person knows what they're doing with it. Lace wigs and half wigs look the most realistic. I think they're light, Idk how it feels on the head though b/c I haven't worn one yet, but they feel light when I pick them up.

I've never worn a wig or weave, but I was thinking about it. I'd rather wear a wig than a weave. It's easier to take care of your real hair if you wear a wig.

Nah no wig. Either natural or weave. It's one thing to have days where you have to get your hair done, and another where she just comes in the crib and takes off the wig

I think those would look cute on me! Just as long as they're not too chunky.

I never knew how to apply makeup properly. It would get on my shirts and at the time I would never wear white. I'm just now learning about how I was supposed to set the make up and countour it.

I've actually seen a few ppl with the Same wig as my aunt but she knows she doesn't have good ones. She did have an expensive one that looked really nice on her. Unfortunately she is someone who probably is limited to what she can wear because she doesn't have much hair at all due to illness.

As far as weave in general I mean I get it from a functionality standpoint. Chick feels like having short hair. Okay. Next month she wants to have long hair fukk she posed to do just grow it back? Actress, just stylish in general whatever I get that. But I'd rather the chick i'm with's hair be her actual hair. That 24/7 365 for the rest of your life weave lifestyle shyt is some bullshyt to me.
