As a man, there's no way I can REALLY like a woman I haven't smashed. not to mention one I've literally just met. If I've gotten rejected then she missed the chance to even get that close to me.

i usually take it decently. the very first time i was rejected, i didn't though. we went on for 2 or so years after that (we were already friends) but it just wasn't fun to be around her any more. nowadays i realize it's purely an ego thing so i let my ego burn for the moment hoping the fire tempers my ego to be stronger for the next opportunity.
