As the resident #GMB Breh of the Coli (word to @DaPresident @BmoreGorilla @BlackPearl The Empress :salute:)....I knew she was the one when I recognized admirable characteristics in her that were not present in myself (at that juncture) AND I wanted her to teach me these said characteristics for years to come..... In response, she wanted to know me for me. Though married 5 years, I continue to learn about and from my wife on a daily basis. :wow:

You never KNOW that she's the one. As far as how to find the one, that depends on you, and what you need.

You don't know anyone is the one until a lot of time has passed and they have proved they're with you until the end of time.

Women can show all the good traits you want, say all the good things you want to hear, and do all the things that get you infatuated with them yet still end it all eventually for whatever reason they choose. That's how a lot of women are. When a man can go through a lot with a woman for a long time and still be together that's when they can start thinking about her being "the one".

Finding the "ONE" is a lot like purchasing a used luxury car.

Tons of em have high mileage and are marketing themselves as Certified Pre-Owned vehicles when they are nothing but Salvage titles or money pits.

A lot of these women, by the time you are ready to look or choose the "one" is like shopping for a used whip to stunt. For example, picture a woman as a Mercedes 2006 S Class with multiple owners.

Some women know they have high miles on the motor yet, they will put Armor All on the tires and "Runs Great", "AC Colder than a Polar Bears Toenail" on the windshield, but 6 months later.

you stuck with a lemon that needs a re-built transmission and terrible gas mileage. No amount of repair can fix the crack in the leather seats and the stuffing begins to show.

12 years ago, fresh off the showroom (porch), that car was desired by all and had a shine and gloss to its coat that was hard to deny.

Cold winters, hard conditions, and driving as well as neglect to maintenance, are evident everywhere on the surface as well as the interior.

Yet and still, the Benz still thinks it is a Benz and can compete with the 2010 and 2014 Body shapes with Low Certified Pre-Owned mileage.

You know that she is "the one" when the "miles" on the odometer match the care/performance of the "vehicle". Look for those cars with "Demo Miles".

What @Heafcliffe said, she was good and different from me, we learned from each other.

But I knew she was "the one" the first time I made her cry, don't remember what happened. I'm generally a unemotional person and people's feelings don't matter to me, I don't have shame & rarely remorseful . But each tear felt like a dagger breh, I genuinely felt horrible. I cried my damn self for being hurtful to her . That's when I knew, she woke up a part of me I didn't even realize I still had.

She was my rock and best friend. We'd still be together if I woulda stopped my fukkery. We split on good terms and both regretted it.

I don’t believe in that she’s “The One” sounds like some fairytale shyt to me. Cuz we don’t meet all the people in the world to truly know if someone is only for us :yeshrug:
To me it's not really the "only one" it's the "right" one first. You ain't gotta meet the world to meet someone that's right for you,you just click. Once it gets serious it becomes the only one because you ain't concerned about nobody else . Many people meet someone that'd be perfect for them but can't have them
