This nikka wants to be Keith Sweat with an edge so bad LOL

Young nikkas in the Booth wonder why us older heads refer back to the 90s so much. This is a crystal clear example. Unless you a super producer who was never considered a rapper anyway you get a pass but nikkas done took all the integrity out the game. Its one thing to have studio gangsters but its completely different to have an MC not writing his own rhymes. Than this nikka Meek is in his feeling so much he cant even make a complete songFor some reason, Drake [and/or his ghostwriter(s)] appeals to a lot of dudes out here.... and thots. He a grimey hood nikka. We all know cats like him, who smile in your face but will steal some money if you ever leave it out. Then say they heard you got robbed and act concerned. Fu fu ass nikka. If I am in the industry, I can't trust Meek. This was some sucker shyt that obviously backfired now everybody gotta keep their guard up like he's an agent. Drake wore Free Meek Mill tees more than Ross did. Hoped on records, he did videos with him, and shouted him out saying Meek's intro on D&N was the biggest moment in hip-hop in 2012-2013. He was on one of Meek's best records for his most recent album. You don't do business like that. They got (well had) each other's numbers if it was about some promoting the album. So, Drake had some help and reference tracks and it bothered him so much he felt it was his life mission to tell the world? Because he cares about hip-hop so much. Cares as much as the dudes he kill on his records. Meek is the type of dude that is fukking your chick, have another man he is jealous of and all 4 are smiling in a pic. No honor amongst thieves so I stay clear of them.
As a man, he wants to tweet and shyt! Really, dude!?!?! Honestly, I think Nicki Minaj put him up to it on some hostile takeover shyt for the top spot but Meek's appeal and style is niche. He can't get big as Drake. If I am in the industry, I don't fukk with him outside of making a song. Let me Skype him while I am writing to protect myself.
Sorry for the rant but sucker shyt bothers me.
Sure, it's one of the ways to approach music.Isn't that what music is for![]()

Seems like Drake really fukked with Meek and was looking out for the longest only for this to happen? Meek was feeling himself and now he's getting humbled. The industry is going to look at him sideways for a long time. Reference tracks are only a big deal to delusional Internet stans living by a bunch of dusty rules people paid lip service to but no one followed. The Booth is going through a meltdown right now. This beef isn't good for their health.
its seem like it really hurt meek heart that drake didn't write his rhymes which it should it take a lot of effort to write shyt and he mad that drake took the easy road out
That's exactly how I read the situation.
You don't go outsideSure, it's one of the ways to approach music.
Personally, I like music that creates an atmosphere. Some folks may say Drake's music creates a type of atmosphere, but a lot of it just sounds like hot ass to me. Beats are cool, but lyrics are what pull me in (depending on genre). Also, his voice just irks me, so I'm biased LOL
Folks like Fetty Wap, Migos, Young Thug, etc. have music that "bumps", I suppose, but that kind of shyt ain't for me. Others feel differently.
It does seem like a lot of women like Drake's music because 1) they want to fukk him and 2) he comes off as a "sensitive" dude. Like I said, I'm biased, because I've always felt like dude was disingenuous from the start. I've listened to his music, because I didn't want to just say he was trash without giving him a chance, but I can't get into him at all.
Edit: I'm not a fan of Shriek Shrills either![]()

Update (11:42 a.m.): TMZ has provided an explanation of one of the song's final lines: "You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater." According to them, Drake got into an altercation with one of T.I.'s friends at a private screening of 2010's Takers, which ended with the friend urinating on Drake. Following that, Drake ran out of the theater.
