in FL theres tool called edison you would use to sample. youtube that since you already got it

FL Studio(I can use shyt like abelton and reason but at the haters im comfortable with FL), a midi Keyboard and an MPD I never use.

When I actually do sample, I never use slicex, i just load it in edison, find the part I wanna sample and drag it to the playlist its simpler

So you use sample loops, you don't slice it up

I do, I slice it multiple times like that, if I sample and intend to have different parts or whatever, it usually ends up with like 10 different sound clips in the playlist, I know there's probably a better way to do it but I learned this way and i'm pretty set in my ways

I play bass guitar and electric... so sometimes I have beats in my head that I would like to create...

i love hip hop and if I knew how to make beats, I'd throw my own little style to them...
I always wondered if an MPC is all you need, I checked out the videos some of you posted and I guess I need some software...

I'll probably check out Fruity Loops, slicex and Edison... and just mess around when I have free time..

I'm still that nikka on the bass guitar though

thanks, I figured, i just wanted to mess around on Fl (havnt used it since I switched to mac), but I guess I dont need it cause I use reason more anyways
