That's good. For 600-750 SQ ft. here 1 Br in an "affordable" area it's about $1400-1500.
But yall gotta drive so add 200-300 a month onto the rent so it's only about 100-300 cheaper then. I think you could probably find a cheaper spot you just looking in high end areas.
Rent for 1 Br in decent part of ATL probably can go for 800. You may have to add an extra 10 min to your morning commute drive.
Do the calculations on gas and shyt to see if it's worth it.

Moved back to my mothers house as soon as I realized rent prices are a joke and both of our finances were poor.

Makes engineering salary stretch really well.
Id kill to live in atlanta tho. the higher COL is worth it. more money, more opportunity, and more ppl up in ATL.
