When I go home everyday from work I have a Black woman I can vent my frustrations and concerns to and I know that she "gets it"..

Do you address these issues in a real way and have a sympathetic ear you can depend on?

Do yall lay in bed thinking about strangling your pawgs at night?




Or do you just totally avoid the conversation and talk about who did the latest ice bucket challenge?

That would be the only issue I would have if I were to be with a white man, they couldn't relate to me with issues such as race and I would have to watch what I say.

Something a lot of dudes don't comment on but after a long time together (in my case 2 years) you start to forget that they're another race. It doesn't compute because you're comfortable with each other now. She's a woman and you're a man. I would legit forget. Of course, every now and then she'd do something that reminded me she was a sheltered suburban white girl Point is......I talked to her like I would a black girl. I vented and talked shiit like I would a black girl. Also.....9 times out of 10, the woman ends up influenced by the man. If you're religious, that will rub off on your girl. If you're business minded, that will rub off on her. If you're serious about education, that will rub off on her. So all the wild crazy sociopolitical topics (in the same realm as Ferguson) I'd talk about rubbed off on her....of course black women HATE this because some white females think that because they're fukkin black dudes, that they're black and they go too far

I talked to my girl about it but one thing we both agree on is,

1. Mike brown was a thug
2. The shooting has to be investigated because even thugs deserve justice.

She is pro-black on issues but I think she overcompensates because of me.

I won't be marrying a white woman so I really don't care at this point.
