How do you prefer your steak to be cooked?

I made this thread a few days ago. I had got in a back and forth with a bunch of people on Facebook because about 60% of them said it had to be well done. I told them they were wasting their money and they got all defensive

prime rib steak

put peppercorns, cayenne pepper, steak spice, teriyaki sauce and a bit of maggie sauce on it (dry spice both sides, sauce on one side)

put sauce side up on the grill first, put some bbq sauce on the dry side after flipping (not much)

medium rare (3 minutes per side on my grill)
