How do you rank the Roots discography best to worst?

Not counting Organix. They're so consistently good. There's little variation in quality from 1-9. I'm ready to say Rising Down is their best overall effort, surpassing Illadelph Halflife.

Yeah they're the most consistent group ever. They've never made a bad album. I was curious to hear how people would rank their albums because the lists would probably be all over the place. I'd expect IH to be near the top of everyone's list...that's probably the only real commonality.

Don't know how I'd rank the rest. And I always thought Rising Down was pretty bad.

Everybody's ranking TFA high. I never cared too much for that album. Thought it was pretty lackluster. I liked The Next Movement a lot though. I was on my super-underground elitistshyt around that time though.

Those are the ones that tend to land towards the bottom. Some people love Phrenology though.

Outside of the first 3 (Organix excluded) and the surprisingly stellar HIGO a roots album is roots album is roots album.

The most marginal, super talented group going. The perpetual 3.5 to 4 mic act.
