Sometimes I would rather just post a text link to something rather than have the forum turn the link into something else. Is there any way to stop links from embedding?

it works when you create a link out of regular text not when you type a web address

No, what I'm saying is, say I post a Youtube URL. The forum will automatically turn it into an embedded video. If I didn't want the embedded video and just wanted the URL to be a clickable link, is there any way to do that?
