Does he get his freedom back or any kind of retribution? I stopped after that long scene where he was hanging

so powerful but I share the TV and I don't think I'll be able to see the end anytime soon.

I had a feeling it was going to be something like that where it was on some ambiguous shyt. I'm still confused on why he became a slave though. Like I know it started because he had to make sure his parents fell in love at that dance but it became so much more. The car chase was wild, too.
