Do you remember how much buzz how to rob created around him

Do you remember how much buzz the ja rule shyt created around his album release

Or did you just fall out your mother's womb..

It hard to teach an old dog new tricks

Yeah it created buzz at the time but in the long run it hurt him.. musically. Financially he's straight tho.. But he's completely irrelevant today :manny:

thats what im saying..
it worked for him in the past..and with the ja rule thing that whole situation made ja completely irrelevant..im sure 50 got a lot of joy out of that.
you see how hard he went at ross tracking down his baby mothers making cartoons etc etc

so whether he changes or not thats on 50 really

Yea, I didn't know that. I remember reading somewhere it was Nas' call and he didn't even tell 50 he found out when he heard it on the radio or something like that

It was the label choice but Nas knew he would be replacing 50. Then he didn't tell 50. Which 50 thought was a punk move.

Styles said that they use to shoot subliminal at people all the time(Including G-Unit and 50). 50 just wanted to find more of a reason when Jada and Joe hopped on that song with Ja where Ja was talking shyt bout the Unit. Nas was talking shyt at that Free show he did where he said "Who wants to hear that real hip hop shyt and not that 50 Cent bullshyt?"

In that track New york with Ja. Kiss spits that "you might get rich but it's guaranteed you gonna die" etc right after GRODT? he admitted it was a whole sub diss at 50. Him and Styles said it wasn't no real beef tho, they were just throwin shots at the thrown the same way 50 did/does but it wasn't about to be poppin in the streets. just hip hop

50 Cent has ALWAYS used the same formula...

Drama -> Blow Up -> Repercussions of Initial Drama bring him down.

Ultimately I cant fault him because it got him a lot of success in his life, but he always has severe repercussions he just never takes it into account...

First How To Rob -> Lead To Him Getting Noticed and Buzzed -> Lead to Him Getting Jumped numerous times and soft black balled
Robbing Ja Rule -> Lead To Him Getting Money -> Lead to Him Getting Shot Up
Bullying The Industry -> Lead To Him Running Things for 5 years -> Lead to His album being shelved for 5 years

Really its nothing new... 50 Cent will tell you himself, he knows in the end there will be ramifications, he just is built for this. I dont think 50 would know what to do if he didnt have at least 1 drug kingpin out there trying to put a hit out on him. His whole mindstate is one of paranoia... as long as he is around he will always be in drama... Remember the Wire where dude got all his money clean, was untouched, politicking about to make some real money, and he ran out into the street to scuffle with some low level hood dudes... thats 50.

As far as it goes 50 has little repercussions from dissing rappers, he is in essense blackballed because he sh!ts on everyone lower than him on the totem poll. Dude is just terrible at managing relationships long term.

He cant get buzz going because he has been physically threatening DJ record pools to not play certain artists since like 2005.
He couldnt get promo & marketing to click for his last few releases at interscope because he was threatening & getting folks fired for doing there job promoting and marketing certain artists since like 2005.
He couldnt get a release date because he kept 'pulling power moves' when he was the labels second top priority, so the executive team didnt want to push for him anymore.
Etc Etc.. Its not the rappers he dissed its all the behind the scenes industry dudes he bullied.

Now that being said he is rich as hell, so to him its probably worth it overall. But it aint nothing new, and he still aint learn his lesson.

Agreed on all counts.

In hip-hop, this type of thing is expected so he's able to get away with it. In NO other genre would this behavior be tolerated. You notice he don't shyt on actors and producers of his movies and TV shows? He'd be done tomorrow. Rappers are fatherless children who rap to other fatherless kids so they accept that sort of thing. Why else would the LOX make songs with this dude after he tried to destroy their careers? That's "hip-hop" to them. They literally get on interviews and talk about the "spirit of competition" in hip-hop i.e. trying to cut the next man's head off and slander him in front of his fanbase so he can't eat.

He tried that shyt on Iovine and Iovine kept quiet, sat him on the shelf for 5 years and then dumped him.

Fat Joe & Jadakiss : He went at Joe & Jadakiss cuz they was on a song with Ja where he was basically throwing shots at 50 & telling him had "a hundred guns, a hundred clips, nikka I'm from New York I got a semi-automatic that spits next time if you talk "

Game::stopitslime:

Cam'ron: Cam let his ego & pride and the fact he was on the radio get the best of him and started talking crazy. 50 was jut responding to Flea

Nas: they shyt go way back to when 50 was running round with Nas & Nas took him off a song he thought would be big. I guess he never let shyt go. Add to the fact he was kicking it with Murder Inc

Diddy: Diddy been a fakkit who try to play with 50's money with the whole Mase deal, they were shaky after that and then Diddy starting putting money behind Ross while they were beefing, all while being around 50 & Floyd, it's only right he go at the fakkit as well

Buck::stopitslime: Buck was a disloyal ass nikka who was ungrateful

T.i: He definitely went at that nikka for no reason :mjlol:

Pretty much. Imagine if Fif ever said that gangsta shyt to Robert DeNiro or to Denzel Washington? He would be blackballed from Hollywood.

Is blackballing more prevalent in the hip hop industry or Hollywood?

Hollywood. Hip Hop has some sort of freedom with recklessness.

This dude 50 is a true fukk nikka. He has went after TI, Ross, Diddy etc etc all to keep him self in the lime light.

I forgot about the shyt he pulled with buck

Who ruins relationships and attack other black men just to prop yourself up?

You can claim Ross is fake or rapping fairyrtales or whatever. But everyone that fukks with him swears by him. Dude has put Big Daddy Kane on songs Scarface worked with many producers and no one has anything foul to say about dude.
Just because rappers do a song together don't make them friends. Big daddy Kane and face got a check. You think they Ross friend or some shyt. Let that nikka fall off and money get low. You won't see puff next to him. Remember when plies and t pain was over every we are the world Miami song. What happen after they fell off. Ace hood and French Montana is next.

That's not what I'm saying

What you're describing is just how the game works

I'm saying Ross works with numerous people and no one ever bad mouths him
