Yeah, I already said I'm down but I haven't checked the thread recently. So I guess the idea of a cookout at the park flew out the window.

Naw that ones still on, but there's gonna be a lot of riff raff there. The Atlantic Station get together is a little more exclusive.

Anyway, thanks again for the advice. Btw, you seem really knowledgeable in this area. Is it cool if I pm you with any flight questions I might have in the future?

I'm trying to graduate from a road warrior and become a jet setter like you.:obama:

Change your destination to a small city about 100-200 miles away from your actual destination and look for flights with 1 stop. Often times that 1 stop will be in the major city that you planned to go to, and you can just get off on that stop and "miss" your connecting flight. The airline, for some reason, charges less for these flights than they do for the flight to the major city. I do this for flights to Phoenix (I lie and say I'm going to Tucson) all the time. Does not work if you are checking baggage.

no one's mentioned the connecting flight juug :mjpls:

if you get a flight to a random destination (in cont. US) w/ a layover being your desired spot, these tickets are usually cheaper than going direct. i've saved $50 - $100 bucks doing this a few times
(DC --> LA)

if you travel light, the low-cost carriers like spirit are almost always way cheaper than the big carriers. i went to frisco last year for like 250 RT. again, continental US. they will charge you buku if you bring anything excessive, but its an affordable option.

if you're in NY, there are some crazy deals to europe... hell, you can even go to moscow from nyc for under $500... london town for like $7-800 :why:. back when i lived in the city, i was also able to get some NY -> LA tickets for about $110 one way, but that may have changed.

First off thanks for the advice. It's truly appreciated.

Is that you in your avi? If so you're a little on the cute side.

So you stay in Atlanta huh? The flight that I'm looking for is actually going to Atlanta, that's pretty cool.

So how'd you stumble upon the coli?:sas1:
