How does a college like BYU stay athletically competitive?

THe Mormon church is everywhere in Utah. I was in Salt Lake City for work last month and they own everything in Salt Lake City.

They have A LOT of money.

They also won a national title more recently than a lot of your favorite schools.

There are worse religious schools to goto. Liberty University being the worst. And unlike Liberty, BYU's academics are respected across all American colleges and universities.

This unexpected game between Utah and BYU (the bowl game) is gonna have the state crazy. I don't think they were supposed to play each other again for another few years

Not all of the student-athletes there are Mormon.

Mormons are good athletes, too.

Top notch facilities all the way around (that Mormon money is loooooong).

Yes, the student-athletes are fukking, too. Mostly the black and Islanders get snitched on though.

The two-year missions are an unfair advantage in most cases. So instead of 18 year old freshmen, you get 20 year old freshmen. More mature bodies, mindsets, etc. And in some cases they take the missions after a year or two so they're older as juniors and seniors.
