You right I was being scary

YG Ali

here is some new stuff. It hasnt been mixed yet and I might make a few more changes
I just followed you, get your followers up. If you can, make a shirt that has your links on it: 44ygali everywhere.
Get a marker and tag your name up...but don't get caught...EVERYWHERE.
Make sure ALL of your friends and family repost, and make sure folks follow you.
Also: Upload tracks to youtube and use video snippets to attract attention. Everybody can't hear soundcloud links...most people don't have that app, especially women.

It helps to have some connections becuz they can help you get shows or get your music into the right hands. You gotta use every resource available to you. Upload your shyt to YT, SC, and stay on IG, FB, and Twitter. Hand your shyt out at the HBCUs, strip clubs, etc.
I should had been more specific.

Im speaking on the street politic aspect of his post.

Okay. Heres some marketing game.

My homie did this marketing technique.

He bought a gang of ballons (which will attract kids nd they mommas:shaq:)

Stood on a popular metro corner and sold the ballons for $2 but gave away the cd for free.

And he didn't just give the cd away, he explained why they should accept the cd, what made his music different, etc....not to mention he got afew numbers...:jawalrus:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
It is and I know people who are connected but I'm not a street cat and I really don't trust those type of dudes

Basically I'm trying to figure out how to move into those circles lol

I mean Playboi carti did it and he not a street dude lol

The closet dudes to me in the streets would be either slaughter gang or money power respect or the dudes in kirkwood/edgewood or 1017
Then you out of luck. You can name on one hand, the amount of rapper who blew without a street or industry co-sign.

Socially awkward ain’t gonna work. Being afraid to trust or demand respect from them dudes ain’t gonna work. Getting on with no street love and support, especially in Atlanta, ain’t gonna wait

Honestly I figured it out. Just stop overthinking and be a man about it. nikkas respect it when you tryna get payed like them and thats how im gonna approach the music industry. Gonna come up with a plan and execute. Besides I want a organic real fan base not some internet shyt tbh

I just listened to your music. Objectively speaking, its not bad, pretty much the same ole stuff thats on the radio. Nothing new.

But with the type of music you make its gonna be hard to make it w/o street approval or connections b/c there's a million guys making the same type of music esp in atl.

Now as far as how to get connected? It doesnt hurt to start small like just hanging out with people(i.e. clubbing partying etc etc). Shiet maybe start your own vlog or website where you interview up and coming rappers in your city while simultaneously making your name more well known
