How is baseball dying when the fans are still going to the stadiums and you got young stars like Trout, Harper, Posey, and Stanton bring in the new era? Baseball has more stars playing and more international fans than it has ever had.


Baseball is probably the best spectator sport if you go to the game.


I get bored watching any sporting event on TV but baseball was built to entertain people in the stands, not some nikkas sitting on the couch with their boys talking bullshyt.

What level played at? I only played up to select AA team and mainly high school

Same, AA. I played against (and got embarrassed by) a few future NHLers and the reality sunk in that I wasnt gonna make it to the show

I respect hockey as a sport/art/activity/etc... but there exist no frozen ponds during any time of year anywhere outside of the mountains within 500-1000 miles from me depending on the direction. I can't relate. I have never seen it played except on TV. I view it as a Canadian/Northern USA/European white man's game. I played baseball growing up so I can relate to it more even though I don't watch regularly.
