You can say that for many powerhouse programs whose school has a decent to good academic reputation (lots of UNC athletes have Afro American studies as their major, other schools having "general studies" as a major). shyt is rediculous
. That's one of the things that sux about my school and the GA board of regents REFUSES to allow GT to have more athlete friendly shyt. But they have no problems doing shyt for UGA all the time. 
I see lots of schools ranked in the US news & world report top 50, but their athletes are taking glorified basket weaving as majors. When you have liberal arts majors, you can really hide your athletes in trash majors. I remember when they used to post the athletes majors during games, and they had this one cat at Clemson who I believe was taking "RECREATIONAL PARK CENTER MANAGEMENT!!!".
. you can't make that shyt up fam.and IPTAY don't play, but they damn sure pay. Ryan Stewart always making jokes about them payin cats (they tried to pay him back when he was being recruited).
Sad part is with all the talent they keep on the regular they continue to underachieve. Just when you think they are turning the page, they give up 70 in the fukkin Orange Bowl...

@ rekka pryde, stop crying. You Techies always fukkin complaining. Weren't y'all the same ones who got mad when we were about to get some technical & engineering classes at UGA? We were about to make y'all irrelevant in the classroom...we all know y'all ain't seein us on the athletic field

That's not really true. Woody Dantzler, Charlie Whitehurst, etc they've had good QBs there. Great fanbase & boosters, decent facilities, it's really a lack of quality coaching even tho Dabo hasn't done a terrible job, he's still not a good coach

I've always thought of y'all & Clemson like sister schools. Both of y'all are equal distance from ATL, both are the Tigers, colors are similar (Orange & Purp vs. Orange & Navy blue), big football schools that perennially underachieve...You ain't never thought that?
