My nikka Spitta started grinding his ass off right when that Freshmen cover hit in 09 with Cudi, Wale and Blu and nikka ain’t stop working since.

Crazy cause back then he was actually broke from his YM days and squandered what he made from them. He said back then he was gonna build it back up and be where he is today. nikka rapped about it in damn near every rap from 09-2013 but it’s beautiful to see his vision come through from an independent grind. This one of my favorite rappers of all time so seeing shyt like this just put a smile on my face. Jetlife!

If u kinda think about it, their secret to success was putting in the work. They had the same independent grind.


Both of em started off under stars and did their own thing once their situations didn’t work out. Curren$y charged it to the game and went on to do big things. Meanwhile, Gudda Gudda is the Slo Down of YM.

ROC could have dissed Busta like Reek Da Villain but he went on to do big things while Reek is somewhere riding the subway.
