How does Dominos, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, etc stay in business in NYC?

Not to mention delivery is a total crapshoot with local spots

And the chains tend to be more reliable after 9pm.

If you read grubhub comment section this is the number one complaint with mom and pop restaurants :heh: deliveries taking hours, trash customer service, food being cold, etc.

Slightly off topic but its mind blowing that Panda Express survives in NYC. Mom and pop chinese restaurants give you much more food for cheaper prices than Panda Express :mjlol:

Eat a mom and pop beef with broccoli then eat a Panda Express beef with broccoli. I'm not by any means a food snob but even I don't like Panda Express :scust:

Panda Express food is DRY

That's easy.

One charges 2.75 for a slice and the other charges 5.99 for a whole pie with the right coupon/special

What do you think people with low funds are going with? A lot of mom n pops also don't do delivery

60 million people visit NYC every year. I'm sure tourists are eating at Pizza Hut and Dominos.

It's just easier for some people.

Personally, ever since I moved to Brooklyn I only ever get Pizza from the local place but I see why for some people if they're trying to get a whole pie, it's easier and cheaper to just call Domino's. Like if my roommate isn't in the mood to walk to mom & pop joint down the steet he'll just order from the Domino's around the corner on Fulton :yeshrug:

Whenever I go to Brooklyn, I like going to Front Street Pizza in Dumbo

Hopefully they're still open whenever I go back
