Depends on the type of breh you are and what else you got going for you. If you short AND big/fat like myself, you gotta put in double work to be respected by your peers and considered for relations by the females. It's almost like you destined to be an affable sidekick or a loveable simp of some sort off the jump 'cause ain't no chicks fukking with a short dude who's an a$$hole, especially if she taller than him WITHOUT the heels. Thankfully I'm 5'6" on a light day when Black Jesus relaxes the laws of gravity so a dude can shoot up an inch and get his confidence up.
In terms of checking women....you gotta be confident as shyt, especially if she a few inches taller than you 'cause you can end up looking like a kid with her in certain instances (Slow dancing, making out, Queuing up at the Airport
) which automatically makes some taller brehs feel the need to check yo girl on some disrespectful shyt 'cause he ain't looking down into your eyes for shyt other than to let you know you ain't on his supposed level. On the plus side, you can develop a nice napoleon complex or get away with being a clown (my bread and butter) if you a silly one that endears certain females to you, and if you can hold your own in a fight or atleast not be a pushover, the majority of dudes will see you as a partner, not prey. It ain't so bad, plus if you got money/certs/cred, having a chick 5'10" and up makes other chicks go "How he do that?" and you garner a bit of mystique and they try and holler out of sheer curiosity.
