there's probably a couple of others I'm missing. But those are all good players at the NFL level. Yet they had average-to-below average QB's in college throwing to them.

And it's not like they don't have a big recruiting footprint. It's LSU, they should be able to go into Texas and get somebody, let alone the other surrounding states. Any young high school QB would be thrilled to be throwing to talent like that.

Have they even recruited even a decent QB(on the college level) since Jamarcus Russell?

It's the SEC, where you don't need a great quarterback to win games.... and even if you win close games and struggle to score 20 points teams will get a pass because its the SEC
