there's probably a couple of others I'm missing. But those are all good players at the NFL level. Yet they had average-to-below average QB's in college throwing to them.

And it's not like they don't have a big recruiting footprint. It's LSU, they should be able to go into Texas and get somebody, let alone the other surrounding states. Any young high school QB would be thrilled to be throwing to talent like that.

Have they even recruited even a decent QB(on the college level) since Jamarcus Russell?

The offense my ass we don't have qb's to throw no shyt we have to run it. When Mettenberger was there last year (he wasn't that good his first year IMO) that offense was balanced but keep recruiting these 2 star "qb's" and yes you will keep running the ball every play.

See, I've always been a proponent of the idea that LSU WRs are frauds. Beckham is playing well this year and Dwayne Bowe has had a few good years.

Early Doucet, Michael Clayton. Trindon Holiday, Reuben Randle, Brandon LaFell, Josh Reed, Craig Davis, Devery Hendrerson....

ALL of those nikkas are/were subpar to okay. Can't really say they had good careers. A few of them had a couple of good SEASONS, but nah.

Don't give me they make rosters argument. Most of those nikkas were 1st or 2nd round picks. They're supposed to be #1 or #2 receivers for years. They weren't.
