i came in to say this, he was great in SVU.... the hate is prob from the fact he pretty much stopped doing music, for acting....
yup, Paul Walker is garbo...think Gizzle should change his thread from Ryan Gosling=Keanu Reeves, to Paul Walker=Keanu Reeves, as they are more like eachother....

How does he keep landing role after role?
While quite entertaining more often than not, it has always bothered me a little to see rappers landing leading/major supporting roles in films. There are so many starving actors who work everyday of their life perfecting the craft, only to get overlooked for some rapper person who has little to no theatrical background. It has to be absolutely gut wrenching, for the up and coming actors out there. I think about this often. And again, I will not sit here and pretend I don't enjoy Cube in Friday and MC Eight in MenaceIISociety etc, but I've always wondered what potentially next great actor lost that gig to them.

Oprah obviously lost her role in television to someone that network thought was better qualified when she was fired for 'not being television material'. And I'm sure there are great actors who went through years of doors slammed in their faces before making it big as well. Talent is not always readily spotted, as has been proven in sports.
Maybe, maybe not..but the up and coming actors who I was referring to in my post, who could've one day been one of the greats, certainly do look for those roles.
yea but when u take these roles you kinda get pigeon footed into what you can get in the future. besides jada, ice cube, and cuba (menace/boyzhood) the rest of those casts didnt do much afterwards
