I've been in fights before, even when I was heavy, and gave nikkas hands :ehh:

I'm related to Donovan Ruddock, but not on the level of "Aye cuz, give me pointers on how to become a boxer"

Give me some tips brehs

FWIW, I'm currently 6'0 178 14% body fat and building muscle. I'm trying to get to 215 9% body fat by next summer because there's no money between HW and middleweight

Go to a boxing gym and talk to the people there. Most COLISEUM nikkas ain't thrown hands since Elementary school and it was a girl that beat em

There's money at Light Heavyweight.

And in order to be a Boxer, you should first go into a respectable gym in your area. Ask to spar the best person there. After that sparring match, consider whether you really wanna do this or not....bc Boxing is not a game at all.

If you wish to continue forward, speak to some of the trainers in the gym, and see if they are willing to help you pursue an amateur career in Boxing before you eventually go pro

Go to a local boxing gym that seems decent and they'll help you get going if they think you're any good.

Even if you aren't going to box professionally it's still a worthwhile thing to do though, great way to keep healthy.

:dahell: Just got to a reputable gym in your city and tell them you want to train. You're gonna be humbled quickly tho. Boxing aint streetfighting. :mjlol:

Got to get a coach first

Usually you just walk into a boxing gym and just talk to the coach about pointers and etc.. You learn the fundamentals and if he see's something he will talk to you more or want to work with you more on personal, 1v1 shyt.

That's usually what the basics were for me. Actually going amateur or pro takes a lot more work into it by you and your coach but thats the beginning.

It's easier to start as a kid because some gyms let kids work out for free or discounts on memberships. As an adult, you pretty much pay to use the facilities or 1v1 training/classes but if the coach think you're pretty good and SERIOUS he will come to you or want to see you train, hit the mitts, etc., basically test you. You won't be sparring right away (unless you already been doing it for awhile) but in a few months they'll put you in the ring and see how you do.

This is just from my experience btw... Everyone is different with different come ups. And I was at a boxing gym out here a few weeks ago for the first time in awhile and that's literally what happened except I just did bagwork. I Didn't have the equipment i wanted to hit pads and shyt
