How does one become a good person?

One doesn't simply become good.... one stays on a pure path and let not the world stray you into non righteousness....

Some people are saying that good doesnt exist. Like people cannot be bad people. What about people who murder, torture, and rape people for their own pleasure. A lot of people are speaking in absolutes in this thread - like they have all the answers. A lot of arm chair philosophy going on.

Yeah, all ~7 billion of them and everyone's subjective standards are different but NONE of them is wrong since there is no objective standard.​

You can do everything right by society's standards and still not be considered a good person.
I've done everything right in life, but I'm still invisible.
However, those that flaunt their money and status are considered good people in the eyes of others.
The sickness of this modern society will never yield anything good.
