LEBRON RELIES OF PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES.......THATS WHY HES EASY TO EXPOSE. LIVINGSTON CAME INTO THE GAME AS A SKILL PLAYER, WHICH EXPLAINS WHY HE LOOKS BETTER THAN AN AGING LEBRON IN THIS YEARS FINALS.

This thread is pretty bland, BUT if there's any hot reaching take to add, it's that I feel that Bron's game would probably be much improved if he weren't so durable. Seems like injuries and time off bring the best out of people when they try to figure out ways to adjust.

Happened with Livingston as he's evolved after his injury. Happened with Ron Harper. Happened with Antonio McDyess.

For big men everything starts with the hookshot, you build off it and around it, that's how Hakeem did it and how Pete Newell taught it :blessed:

For guards it's probably different, just getting the balance on the shot is probably the most important thing.
See I disagree. Every bumb big has a hook. But u need a counter and Dream had a turnaround J that was deadly. :ohlawd: I believe a turnaround J is more important than a hook. Think about the best post players and most all had a turnaround j

Livingston was a #4 overall draft pick ..

Dude knows what to do ..

Plus that injury he had..

Breh defly had to make sure he could get his the best way he knows how when he came back ..

so a "top 5" all time is less talented than shawn liverson?

Does he have a problem scoring?

That's what he asking .. not who's better ..

Anybody who is anybody in that top 5 you talking about has a go to move(s) that they know is money no matter who is sticking them ..

Lebron is shaky in that area right now..

That's all ..

Hakeem built everything you see off the hookshot, without a proper two footed hookshot counters don't happen. You end up with a Dwight like dude that has these completely pointless moves that nobody bites on.

For big men the basis for a great post game uses the hookshot as it's foundation.

This is true, but even if you look at Steph, Kobe, Durant, etc. the most important time of the year for players is the offseason. The stories we've heard about LeBron's training regimen to this point don't always pertain to basketball, usually you hear things about his dieting, what workouts he's doing, his dedication to maintaining his cardio, anything having to do with his body. In Miami we would hear about him working with Hakeem or working hard to refine his jumper, but it seems like those skills weren't retained. Meanwhile with Steph we see him constantly working on his handle and jumper, Kobe was constantly tweaking his game, adding moves to his repertoire, and same with Durant.

LeBron's focus on his body might be limiting his ability to refine his game. Any time he adds something to his offensive arsenal it's here for one season and gone the next.

Wonder if this thread would be made if Livingston was being guarded by Iggy instead of Kyrie and Delladova?:jbhmm:
