I thought about going there out of HS, out of HS race ain't as big a deal to you because you had friends of all racist and you really didn't understand white supremacy. So white schools was mainly where you wanted to go. I choose otherwise but I did get an email from their basketball coach at the time.
As someone who dated a sista who went there, I would say it's five things she liked.
A. Good sports teams.
B. Their Black folks stick together
C. Credible education.
D. Close to home for most who live around there.
E. Attractive student body. More Blacks than other ACC schools
