Believe it or not, I saw it for the first time a couple months ago. Not a big eminem fan so I held off. I liked it a lot. Gave the face of working class Detroit in the post-industrial era this gritty, real look. And that club in the basement :ohlawd:

I saw it in a theatre full of cacs who would never come out to a typical hip hop movie and they loved that bullshyt story of a cac being a minority facing odds etc. To me it was just aight. Giving him the oscar for that song was way overboard. Not even close to the best rap score or soundtrack. Cac prvililedge at its finest.

What was your favorite song on the Soundtrack?

I only ever saw the battles. Have little to no interest in watching the whole thing.

I liked the movie..

Hated the Poppa Doc casting... He didn't fit..

Hated the dreadlock wig on Omar Epps too.

Lotto probably beat Rabbit

That 1 pac, 2 pac, 3 pac stuff was overrated, and I still don't get it....LOL..

Outside of the battles.. It was aight I guess.
Those battle scenes are iconic though. Hearing the shook ones and last dayz beats drop for the first time was :banderas::banderas::banderas:
It'll probably still get me to this day.
Everyone wanted to be a battle rapper after that movie ended, and if you disagree then you're frontin

That movie is the only Eminem content I could ever stomach though
