i'm not a parent but i feel like people are projecting the homework feeling as an adult on the kid.
yeah of course, the typical washed up parent with no patience is going to dread seeing their kid fukk up spelling dog over and over again and dread not remembering how to carry the one in long addition problems.
but the kids probably appreciate the attention, ANY kind of attention as long as you aint scoffing at them for getting it wrong.
make it fun! then maybe kids won't grow up hating education
just a thot
the strongest memories I have is of my mom picking me up from school when i was in first grade everyday, walking back to the house so she can help me with my homework and teaching me how to read.
Hooked on phonics
