How does the coli feel about Swedish cacs creating algorithms to create hit songs.

Why today's music sounds repetitive..




I think most of those "hit" songs are straight trash. @Nutritious Quata' Water seems to think a computer can make hits songs.


Might I add cacs thought African rhythms, singing, and sounds were undeveloped.

I don't think it works, I don't like many of those songs. They sound genetic. Plus it doesn't take into account that pop music is watered down ethnic music. Lots of African based and influenced music does not follow musical "rules".

Because it's sounds real simple. Take like three notes and add an elementary bass rhythm. Literally sounds like a third grader playing hot cross buns on a recorder and with bass to it.

Creating songs back in the day, required, talent at the craft, songwriting and a talented group of people "Feeling" the music.
