Way less guns... a gun on the streets here goes for 2500... you can get like 9 guns in the states for that price

I grew up in probably the worst part of Toronto and a gun was a big deal... only the older dudes had them. I mean now a days because of culture kids want guns in the city but the biggest reason Toronto is safer than any states city is the guns.

As far as drugs though, Toronto is just as drug filled as any other city in the states.


@Kasino416 TAVIS are a joke and basically a racist division of police. They just stop and harass anyone whos suspected of being in a gang (colored people). They really don't do anything except drive around and breathe down the necks of minorities all day.

Guns and gangs do sweeps that take down whole neighborhoods and I don't think the states even has the capacity in terms of police forces to do such a thing outside of a few select cities. The funding isn't there really to put away a whole gang and investigate them. Most policing in America is reactionary not preventive.

I remember the Jamestown sweep though a few years ago shyt was legendary.

As far the issue with "guns are more strict here", statistics clearly indicate that gun control doesn't prevent less crime. If you check the Chicago/LA/wherever murder rates and do forensics on the gun it's a very high percentage of illegal guns (which there are plenty of/seized everyday in T.O.)

it's definitely gotten worse over the years, social networking really have a lot of girls thinking they're better than they are and they don't ever feel like they need to do anything to attract a man.

a friend of mine moved to Spain and keeps complaining about how she goes out, dresses up, but very rarely do guys go up to her or offer her a drink...she gets mad that Spanish girls will get the guy she wants, but she told me she doesn't ever want to be the one to show interest first. The real reason Toronto has a much lower crime rate is simple. Its the culture.
Most of the population are first or second generation Canadians, families immigrated here for better lives, the black population are mostly Caribbean whereas in the states the black population (since we're correlating the african american population with crime here

) consists of blacks whose families were brought here and built to hate and fight one another.

The United States government knows EXACTLY what they need to do and stop doing to improve the conditions of the poor especially the inner city. Go back and look at the things FDR did to fix the country during the Great Depression. Ending the prohibition on alcohol, the New Deal, welfare system helped end high violence and unemployment among white men. These were very targeted policies that worked. These policies did not extend to black people even back then. That is why I know for a fact that the way things are is exactly how the United States government want it be. The criminal justice system employs a lot of people and companies that build prison are traded on the stock market and have contracts with states to be at at least 90% capacity or the state will have to pay the companies for the empty prison beds. So crime is necessary to sustaining the American economy. The US just does its best to ensure that says concentrated in certain areas. Many non-violent acts are also criminalized in the US to ensure that more people are sent to prison. Most people in prison are there for non-violent drug offenses. Our public school system is actually the biggest filter for the government to find future prisoners.
