We got in a HEATED family argument because someone didnt want to draw 8 (4 draw 2s).

this is the reason I don't play uno. my kids have different rules than me. friends have different rules than them. it always ends up with a bunch of arguing over how we're gonna play.

One card at a time. Somebody plays a draw you can play the same draw and it stacks, however you don't have to play your draw. After your draw it's your turn, not an automatic skip. Can't if you get skipped that's it, ain't no stacking a skip to stop the skip. Same with reverse.

I ain't played in a minute, but from what I recall.

Skips and reverses were singular use. You wasn't hop scotching across the board like you blocking turns in Domino by holding onto keys.

You normally were only allowed to drop ONE Draw Four or Draw Two, but could double up two draw 2 cards if you started the draw cycle while everyone around you could keep it moving with ONE card and if it came back to you, you HAD to drop Two more (Or a Draw 4) or you had to eat it. So technically if you had Three Draw 2's, Dropped Two cards and everyone added to the draw stack and it came back around to you, your one Draw 2 wasn't valid, so you had to eat that.

This was back in the mid 90's where you got punched in the arm by brolic nikkas who was raised on Coconut water and fish soup for breaking 'school' rules. Even the teachers were like 'cause they was happy to not be teaching around those times and prolly went off to smash each other 'cause we was occupied.
