How early is too early to start drinking?

I had a family member like that, they would wake up and drink, would shake uncontrollably if they didn't have a drank on the hour. Almost died a couple times and had to go to rehab twice, keep gamblin tho brehs and yall gon be like Denzel in flight. Not judging tho, I'm no saint, but after witnessin this person fukk up their life I put the drink down for good but I pick up the blunt every morning
