He has 3 studio albums, about the same as every other rapper in this generation..

He has a few videos on YouTube that are matching the average amount of views as other rappers..
His record sales aren't really up there either.

The only way you could make the argument is radio play in the US (Which I don't know anything about) and he doesn't get ANY over here in the UK.

Are you all overrating his heat? Or is he just keeping up by dropping a mixtape every ther month?

Someone care to explain?

It makes sense that you don't feel the wave if you're all the way in England.

Also, you're measuring rap success like its 2007 :mjlol: # of albums?? YouTube views???

I always feel like UKers be like 5 years behind lmao is Kreayshawn blowing up over there?? What do y'all think of Watch The Throne??

I'm not bytching about anything if anything it's humorous to me. Not all waves are built to make it across the pond. Not every act is as easily digestible as Kanye West or some shyt.

Just how we may not 'get' yalls grime scene, you can't expect to see what's bubbling from the depths of Atlanta or Chicago or anywhere else, and 'get it' any more than you 'get' any of the other American music that yall absorb from behind a computer screen :yeshrug:

Dude really needs to slow down and let his shyt marinate, because he'll have a lot more longevity if he kept releasing DS2 type heat every 12-18 months rather than releasing a bunch of mediocre ass shyt that's good for 2 or 3 bangers like he's always have. DS2 made me a fan of his,but WATTB/Purple Reign/EVOL is doing him more harm than good .I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one in this boat.

Breh, if some people like it then that's fine

But it still doesn't answer my question. How are you measuring his success? A lot of Coli claim he's one of, if not, THE hottest currently about. What has he got to show for it other than a large amount of mixtapes that he dropped?
