Currently 193 lbs.

My usual weight range is 185-188. 40 years old hit me hard and my body is worn down a bit. I still look decent, but i’m feeling kind of heavy and my pants fitting a little snug. I’ll get back though. Never had an issue with diet, but i’m figuring out what I can and can’t eat and at what rate.

So yeah...:flabbynsick:.

I won’t lie. This is me.

Not the best shape I’ve been in, but not soft, flabby or sick and I’ll be 40 on Monday. 6’2 270 lbs.

I have a feeling that a lot of people here are obese or the skinny type that lose breath after half a flight of stairs.

I'm 6'2 180 lbs at about 15% bodyfat, not exactly where i want to be yet but I'm a lot healthier than last year. Ran a 5k a couple weeks ago and finished in 16:30 which isnt too bad, still a lot of work to do.

Where yall brehs at fitness wise? Yall one cheeseburger away from heart disease and diabetes, or yall on that juicing wave and hitting a new PR in the gym every month?

Dont lie either :stopitslime:, that thread from last year exposed a lot of you pilsbury doughboy ass brehs.

Lets get some good recipes and HIIT routines up in here. Vegans are welcome even though yall are annoying as fukk.
I’m finally back physically where I can work out pain free, and all the the things needed for full body recomposing. I messed up my hip and could dead lift or squat for a while.

So all I’m saying is eating right is a choice, good fats like nuts, pumpkin seeds, almond & peanut butter are great in between snacks. I also try to minimize carb intake for the majority of the week keeping my intake between 25-100 grams depending on if I lifted extra heavy or just decided to do light weight heavy reps.

Hit is a must, battle ropes, kettle ball swings, or elliptical sprints 30 minute 3X a week is all the cardio you really Need, unless you feel you need more, then do Liss on your rest days for a hour.

Most of all, just love yourself because your mind state and attitude will lead you to your fitness problem solutions.

I'm actively trying to lose my last 20 pounds, but k deem to have hit a plateau:mjcry::mjcry:

Or maybe my scale is broken, because it hasn't moved in over 2 weeks BUT I did go down a jean size. So idk . I stopped lifting weights, but that's because my schedule changed .I still do my cardio and bodyweight workouts .

All evidence points to the contrary OP. Most brehs who have posted pics are either in shape or at the very least not fat.

Sounds like you projecting OP :umad:

This. When I first started long distance running back in high school I was in good shape but could barely make it through 2 miles without dry heaving. Mind body connection is very important because working out is mostly mental and a lot of people don't have the mental fortitude to push themselves through the pain.

Yall dont waana swap juice and meal recipes? :mjcry:

fukk yall then :wtb:
Cauliflower Fried Rice....

Shredded Cauliflower which you can do yourself or buy, cooked in a little coconut oil mixed with sesame oil.

Mix with your of protein, I personally like the 25/50 shrimp I think, cause they are bigwig, but not prawn size, also a scrambled egg, liquid aminos or low sodium soy sauce, or even coconut aminos, whatever you prefer, and a little bit of peas.

I’m cook the egg first, set it aside, then heat up the oils, add the cauli rice, stir fry in the peas and shrimp if already cooked, add the sauce as needed for taste, then add the egg.

shyt made filling. Moderate in good carbs and fat, and taste hella good...:takedat:

6 feet tall 200 lb. Around this time last year I was 180, diet was on point, stayed in the gym, and was at my peak at 30. I'm still muscular and in shape just not as lean. I got out of a relationship that kinda fukked me up, started drinking more but now Im getting back into my grove. Just gotta motivate myself to eat like I used to. I think about some of the bs I went through and want to grab something sweet or fatty just to take my mind off it if not that, drink. I'm doing better

You shouldn't push through pain because technically, if you're in pain, you're doing something wrong. When I first started running my chest would hurt and tighten up, and I immediately stopped and walked the rest of the time. I would go back everyday tho and work myself up, now I can run pain free and working out is much more enjoyable.

Its differen when youre first starting out trying to get in shape. But once you have reached a good base in order to keep progressing you will have to push yourself to the point of failure. If you're getting chest pains when running then its time to chill out for a couple days and see a doctor because that isnt normal.
