How garbage were these Impalas

100%shytty ass transmission
I had one and paid it off yet the transmission was so fukked up.
I was young and dumb and got it fixed twice
The left headlight also literally broke every two months.
The back locks did not work.
Just so much shyt man.
I wasn't as investigative as I am now.
I got rid of mine last summer after I got a weird engine warning. It said engine power reduced or some shyt.
Googled it and saw so many bad stories lol
I bought a 2015 Jeep but I am paying it off fast because I don't want a car note for more than 2 years. No issues with my new car and its covered under warranty for 6 years

And the ones with the 3800 series engine / powertrains weren’t all that bad, these were always just hood cars / beaters that nikkas rode reckless as fukk until the wheels off of and never took car of.
Literally every cat or female I knew that had one of these drove em like shyt. And every time you seen someone driving em they drove em aggressively af like shyt

I got one now and it’s been pretty reliable but I can tell the end is near 
- I had that dumb ass clicking in the passnsger glove and ended up ripping off the glove box and unplugging whatever the fukk that thing was that was clicking
- I been getting that same dumb ass “engine power reduced” messaged .. Matter of fact I had the mfer reduce power on the highway before .. I was going 80 n it dropped me down to 40 then 30 then I just had to pull over
- trans is a piece of shyt.. I have to remote start it in the morning.. If I don’t and I just get in the car and turn the key I’ll have to sit for a minute or it won’t kick into gear when I put it in drive
