You really can't compare FG%s when you look at the talent lebron had in miami vs what grant had in detroit.

Lebron could be selective about his shots because he had 2 top 15 players on his team (in 2011) to make it easier for him.

Who was grant hill's best offensive teammate? Broken down joe dumars? Lindsey Hunter? Terry Mills? Otis Thorpe. Those guy's aren't comparable to wade/bosh offensively.

Look at lebron this year. He's shooting 49% which compared to his stint in miami is a huge drop off. Quality of teammates matter.
Grant Hill's best offensive teammate was Allan Houston

He had just reached the point where he was dominating with his scoring and not just settling for getting 20 a night. Plus he had finally developed a respectable three point shot that opened up his drives to the lane. He was about to peak but he hadn't quite done so when he left Detroit. His scoring probably would have went down a bit in Orlando but I believe he could have averaged close to double figures in assists and rebounds. Though he wouldn't have averaged a triple double either like people were thinking. At least we can say we got 6 great years out of Grant though but I would have loved to see him for the next 6 years after that with 100 percent health.

:scusthov: he was an awful awful 3 pt shooter.

everytime he shot one i would cringe

Lebron shot the ball more than Grant but he also shot a higher percentage.

Meaning Lebron missed less shots despite taking more.

Lebron's a much better three point shooter with way more range. Lebron is a much better finisher at the rim, has better body control, is stronger, is better at finishing transition, etc.

You talking about Lebron shot more like he didn't shoot a whopping 56% when he started toning down his shots.

In Hill's best season, he attempted 19.4 FG and shot about 49%

In Bron's 4 year tenure in Miami, he attempted 18.2 FG and shot 54%.

Lebron is a MUCH better scorer than Grant hill and it's not even comparable.

Post some proof of your crap.
:beli:Grant hill was smooth and got to the rim at ease. Coming down going off the dribble straight to the rack without 6 screens. The lane wasnt a runway with no defense when hill played like it is today. Grant didnt jack up threes because that wasnt his game and lebron shouldnt have been doing it either because it took him 10 years to get good at it.

Lebron didnt start shooting 50% until like his 8th season in the prime of his career. We never got to see what A healthy grant hill wouldve did in the prime of his career because of injuries. Its ok if you think lebron is better but to say things like he is a MUCH better scorer and its not comparable is misinformed bruh.

But it's not. Lebron has posted better numbers than Grant Hill since his second year in the league.

And who cares how smooth someone is? Lebron still gets to the rim and finishes better.

Hill has ONE season that is comparable to an average Lebron season.

Lebron scores more points, on as many attempts, at a much higher efficiency.

You talk about Lebron not being able to shoot threes but Hill is far FUKKING worse.

lebron has a bigger sample size and we got to see him at his peak, so i cant really argue with you if thats the way you see it:yeshrug:

LMAO

Lebron been posting better numbers than Hill's BEST SEASON since his second year in the league.

Lebron at 20 and 21 had ALREADY posted better seasond than Hill at 27.

Lebron was still scoring more, on higher efficiency, in Cleveland when he had shyt teammates.

I think nikkas only remember Phoenix Hill or something. Detroit Hill was no joke.

Nah, Hill was that dude. He's pretty much Bargain Bin Bron which isn't a knock. He'd be right behind KD and Bron as the third best SF. He was damn good.

prisoners of the moment.

If grant was jacking up 25 shots a game he woulda scored the same amount of points lebron did.

Every time Lebron put up 19 or less points, he scored more points on higher efficiency.

But keep dodging the stats like a bytch.

Lebron has a better second season, at 21, than Hill's best season ever. Pick Hill's best 4 seasons and compare them to Lebron's best 4 seasons in either Miami or Cleveland.

I'll wait

Respectable 3 point shot? The season he shot .347 from 3 while attempting 1.3 a game? He made .5 threes a damn game.

Grant Hill was not a good shooter in his prime. At all.
Yeah but compared to his earlier years it was a good improvement and it at least turned him into a threat out there.

But he raised it up from what in the .100's or .200's so at least he worked on it and all he needed was a respectable 3 ball and if he would have stayed at 35 percent that would have been what it was. Respectable.
