The worst piece of drama that happened to me personally..
we used to have a roped off v.i.p that was only for booked tables, anyway one day theres some short dude hassling the security to let him in the vip , he didnt have the tag ,so security wasnt having it, i was in the vip talking to a promoter so i saw everything, short dude then tries to rush the security, i jumped in and we restrained him and radioed for back-up....
when they carried the dude outside I knew something was up because usually they would have stomped the shyt out of him, but they just walked him out, hes now outside of the club screaming and shouting about being disrespected and about 12 security guys are just looking at him not saying a word...
the head of my security comes inside to talk to me....dude was a proper OG in his 40s that was known and respected he had set up his security firm after doing a bid for manslaughter....him and the promoter tell me that dude was a certified goon with about 6 bodies to his name and a serious crew,and that I need to come outside and apologise to him.... as soon as I step outside dude tries to rush me but he was stopped, I told the dude "I didnt know it was him" even though up untill then Id never heard of him and that it was mistaken identity, took about 30 minutes of politiking to calm this dude down, then I had to bring him back inside to a v.i.p table and give him about $400 worth of free drinks....... so we think situation is solved, this was on a friday night
by saturday afternoon my phone was ringing off the hook, people I aint spoken to or seen in months knew what had happened already and were warning me about this cat, im like "nah its sqaushed"
next day the security that didnt let him in the vip was shot after we closed up as he was getting into his car, the fukkers drove by hit him once and the car about twice..... The OG that ran the security flipped , called this dudes people and told them its war, on the sunday he had goons strapped up parked outside and inside the club
i was like
I got the little dudes brothers number and told him to get the dude to call me back, dude calls me and tells me he didnt shoot me because Im the one with the money, he wanted $2000 cash every week and its good, if not he would get me or fukk up my business to the point that i would lose my license, I found out that his crew were extorting 4 other bars also but the reason why I hadnt been fukked with was because of the OG who ran my security...i started reaching out to everyone I knew to try and mediate because i wasnt going to give him a cent and everyone was shook because this guy and his people were the real deal, my security OG was talking about blasting everyone of this guys crew.....shyt was getting out of hand....he started to get pissed at me because I was making him look weak
I have one good friend whos an armed robber and he came through, he knew where the guys baby mother lived and basically he had a plan to pop the dude and escape on a motor bike, he offered to do it as a friend all he said was that I needed to make sure I was in public when it was done and the OG as well because the whole world would know who was behind it and we would definitely be picked up by the police.... the problem I had with that was Im not a killer and obviously his people would come for us after

I would open a bring your own liquor establishment. Cheaper and less headaches because I want to have all nude dancers. Getting the dancers and employees the easy part.

nah I wouldnt say that... it comes down to where you are located, the type of clientele you want and your security...
If you want to open a hood spot then obviously be prepared...
a lot of times its just down to the owner or the people running it
There are three types of people that run clubs........
People that use a club as a front to launder money or sell drugs
People that want the lifestyle,to sit at the big table surrounded by women and champagne
People that just want to run it seriously as a business and just make money
basically you know which dude you are, the best piece of advice I can give you is make sure whoever is in charge of your security knows "who is who" wherever you set up....it makes it easier to spot troublemakers....
and there are 1 million ways to rob a bar blind, dont trust anyone that works for you
wasnt until I got in the business that I realised how common it is for girls to get their drinks spiked, off the top of my head we had one rape and we stopped about four....we had to resort to keeping a security in the parking lot because thats where most of them happened..... we actually caught this one dude raping a girl on the backseat of his car and the girl was out of it she was so drunk and drugged up.......the security really fukked him up badly, broke his jaw and some fingers.....
shyt was fukked up...the worst thing was we couldnt call the police...anytime you call the police to your spot they could potentially use that against you to revoke your license...
club security are the most grimey and ignorant dudes Ive come across......but I guess when you get threatened with being shot on a daily basis it aint exactly gonna endear you to people...
It wasnt a hood spot but I made the mistake of changing promoters on a Friday and his clientele were younger.....
