Contrary to mythology, the Pistons werent doing anything that other teams werent doing. It was par for the course at the time. Also, they werent picking and choosing and the threat of getting they ass beat was very real and often went beyond threat. And when in came to fighting they werent the aggressors most of the time, they were the ones being swung on first.
