How the fukk do they get recruits (good ones) to want to play in North Dakota


I understand they not getting 5 stars, just gems fr. But still, those recruiting visits gotta be somethin else man

Because the Midwest is filled with a bunch of good, big players that get overlooked by power 5 teams.

If you’re good in the MN, WI, Iowa, SD, ND area you’re gonna get some looks from NDSU and a chance to shine

Their system works, they get a bunch of decent but (whatever knock is on the kid: too short, slow, not big enough, limited tape) they put them in the system get them bigger faster and then unleash them, i remember last year or so they had a starting tackle that came in as a te tall but no real weight, they put him in the program and he was getting some looks by nfl scouts his 5th year in the program

But also like @Trust Me said, it has been some good coaching, and also in the lower ranks usually one program dominates because it’s little talent to go around and not much of a budget to get really good coaches, on that level
Think mount union, Valdosta state, and them schools in Minnesota/Wisconsin in D3

Savannahs James murder death kills most females in the spotlight with any level of draw. Columbus is filled with top tier females like savannahs. Who also talented. As real talk. Best karaoke I ever seen and I only know about it. Simply because their club scene was so dope. They had karaoke taking place in black clubs. Where the walk ups civilian for karaoke to rock. Were like the unfound female rnb depot too.

I understand they not getting 5 stars, just gems fr. But still, those recruiting visits gotta be somethin else man

they're never going to FBS, it just doesn't make sense for their program. For them there's more prestige winning FCS nattys compared to being 7-5 and going to the Barstool Bowl

But they've always been a good program even back in their D2 days. Their ADs have hired the right head coaches and the culture is hereditary like Deion said in that clip from a few days back. They always have an alum or two on the coaching staff, so they've got guys that can instill that culture into the players
