Nintendo has been making games for 30 years, excluding handhelds they only have:

8 Zelda games
6 Donkey Kong adventure games
6 Metroid games
3 Starfox games
3 Smash Bros games
4 Mario Karts
10 Mario adventure games
4 Mario RPGs

These are the key franchises for Nintendo. I really don't understand why people would want less of these games

You can't exclude handhelds, they are porting handheld games up to the console now.

I got a gamecube last year just to play the re0 and re1 remake, other than that, mario and donkey kong hasn't appealed to me since super nes and I've never liked zelda . I had a n64 that I barely played outside of killer instinct goldeneye and star wars. That's just me though.

Been saying that for years. but people kept eating it cause they were "familiar" with the franchise

I could understand these complaints more if the games were wack, but the overwhelming majority of them are good to great.
