How Has Nintendo Got Away With Making the Same Games Over and Over Again?

Nintendo makes the same games over and over but they take their time and make them good solid games .... many of the franchises have multiple classic games


companies like EA and activision make the same games over and over but rush them and produce shyt AND still get away with it so not sure why this thread singles out Nintendo

those franchises are multiplatform tho and call of duty just came around last gen.....nintendo been doing the same shyt from generation 1

i am not saying that what companies like EA are doingg with their franchises are any better than what nintendo is doing dont get me wrong but

this thread is solely focusing on nintendo...

i will give nintendo credit that they try to implement some innovation with their franchises tho..but the same inovations and effort they put in recreating these old franchises could have been used to create some new IP's to keep things fresh ..just my opinion

The reason Nintendo games "look the same" is because most of them have cartoony graphics. How much "better" can Mario or Donkey Kong look?

Nintendo has been making games for 30 years, excluding handhelds they only have:

8 Zelda games
6 Donkey Kong adventure games
6 Metroid games
3 Starfox games
3 Smash Bros games
4 Mario Karts
10 Mario adventure games
4 Mario RPGs

These are the key franchises for Nintendo. I really don't understand why people would want less of these games

Not with me they don't, I haven't fukked with a nintendo or owned one since the N64. Watching them from that point to now the only game that makes me want to come back is:




Hopefully they come out with more shyt that I'll like, until then I can't justify buying a Wii U.

The people that complain about Madden, 2k, COD, etc are the same ones that praise Nintendo and what they do.

I dont think they will get away with it so easily this gen. THe new games they revealed really look like an HD version of the WII games (especially mario kart) and they arent being released till NEXT YEAR. They still havent even revealed a traditional 3d mario, zelda, or metroid. Their conference was extra weak

breh what u talkin bout most hardcore gamers don't give a fukk about nintendo or mario/zelda etc in general only way they'd take that L is if parents stop buying their kids these games and that aint happening because kids need kiddie games you damn well you aint checkin for nintendo like that so what does it matter about what they can or cant get away with shyt been working for like 21 years
