Salary cap, makes sense, but max contracts are just unamerican. Only in basketball could jews get away with this. Limiting what brothas can make? :mindblown:

Probably because David Stern is the devil himself and he ran that league with an iron fist on behalf of the owners.

Probably also because the NBA Players Association was weak and spineless and didn't want to strike....especially after seeing the damage MLB took with all the work stoppages in the 70s, 80s and 1994.

Explain his contract to me please. I know he makes 50mil annually from Barcelona. But those soccer players contracts are usually based on wht they take home after taxes. So basically he makes 50mil before taxes, is this right?

Baseball....

Plus if you do it right, no really bad long-term dangers like the NFL has with concussions and other broken bones/ligament damage.
Guaranteed contracts

:blessed:

But every 5'9 kid in the hood think he gonna be that next Iverson.

:sas1:

Yall better get on yall Jackie Robinson and man up at 2nd base.

BTW,

Andrew McCutchen was named NL Player of the Month for June, after hitting .343/.410/.686 with 8 HR and 25 RBI.

It's basically the top sacrificing for the bottom.

Its not sacrificing. Its simply more Derek fisher types in the NBA than Melo types.

Limit what the top is making and theres more money for everyone else.
